Blessed Be the Lord God:

Blessed Be the Lord God:

An Extended Doxology for the Ages

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places." — Ephesians 1:3

To Him Who Was, and Is, and Is to Come

For His Mighty Acts in Ages Past

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who spoke and the worlds came into being! From everlasting to everlasting, You are God. You stretched out the heavens like a curtain and laid the foundations of the earth. In six days You created all that exists, and on the seventh You rested—establishing the pattern of time itself that would declare Your redemptive plan through the ages.

Glory to You, O Ancient of Days, for Your covenant with Abraham, when You swore by Yourself—for You could swear by no greater—that in his seed all nations would be blessed! Praise to You for Your faithfulness to Isaac and Jacob, transforming a wandering family into a mighty nation, preserved through four centuries of bondage in Egypt.

We exalt You, LORD of Hosts, for the mighty deliverance at the Red Sea, when You made a way where there was no way! For the pillar of cloud by day and fire by night, for manna from heaven and water from the rock, for Your presence on Sinai in thunder and lightning, giving the Law that would guide Your people and reveal our need for a Savior.

Hallelujah for Your patience through the wilderness wanderings, Your provision through the judges, Your covenant with David establishing an eternal throne! We praise You for preserving a remnant through exile in Babylon, for returning Your people to the land, for maintaining Your promise through four hundred years of prophetic silence.

For His Preservation of Church and Scripture

Blessed be Your holy name, O Lord, for the mystery hidden through ages and now revealed—the Church, the body of Christ! When the fullness of time had come, You sent forth Your Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, to redeem those under the Law. Through His death and resurrection, You called out a people from every tribe, tongue, and nation.

We magnify You, Faithful One, for preserving Your Church through:

  • The fires of Roman persecution, where the blood of martyrs became the seed of the Church
  • The darkness of medieval corruption, raising up reformers to restore Your truth
  • The attacks of rationalism and modernism, maintaining a faithful remnant
  • The deceptions of the present age, sealing Your people with the Holy Spirit

Glory to You for preserving Your Word through the millennia! Though heaven and earth will pass away, Your words will never pass away. Through faithful scribes and martyrs' blood, through hidden manuscripts and courageous translators, You have maintained the integrity of Scripture, that we might know Your will and Your ways. Every jot and tittle preserved, every prophecy maintained, every promise kept!

For His Revelation in These Last Days

We worship You, Sovereign Lord, for opening the eyes of Your servants in these final hours! While the world sleeps and even many in the Church slumber, You have graciously revealed the signs of the times to those who seek You with their whole heart.

Praise to You for the precision of Your prophetic calendar:

  • For the rebirth of Israel in 1948, the fig tree putting forth its leaves
  • For the recapture of Jerusalem in 1967, affirming the times of the Gentiles fulfilled
  • For the progressive opening of the seals exactly as Your Word declared
  • For the mathematical precision of the Kingdom Birth timeline

We thank You, Lord, that though many eyes remain closed, You have not left Your people in darkness. The Fourth Seal rides, yet You have shown us. The generation boundary approaches, yet You have warned us. The celestial signs align for August 2026, yet You have prepared us.

To Him Who Comes in Glory and Judgment

For His Coming Wrath and Victory

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who is righteous in all His judgments! We praise You—yes, we praise You—for the wrath to come, for it reveals the perfection of Your justice and the seriousness of sin. Your wrath is not arbitrary but the necessary response of absolute holiness to rebellion and evil.

Blessed be Your name for the coming Day of the Lord! As surely as You kept Your promise to send the Messiah the first time, so You will keep Your promise of His return. We exalt You for:

  • The cosmic signs that will announce His coming—sun darkened, moon turned to blood, stars falling
  • The trumpet blast that will raise the dead in Christ and transform the living
  • The deliverance of Your Church before the hour of trial

Glory to the Lamb who is also the Lion! Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to return as the conquering King! We praise You for the judgment upon Babylon the Great, for the binding of the one who has deceived the nations, for the establishment of righteousness in the earth.

For His Millennial Reign

Hallelujah for the coming thousand-year reign of Christ! We praise You that the seventh millennium will be Your Sabbath rest for creation, when the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Blessed be Your name for this ultimate Feast of Tabernacles fulfillment, when You will literally tabernacle among men! The wilderness wandering of human history will end, and You will dwell with Your people in the Promised Land of the renewed earth. Jerusalem will be the joy of the whole earth, and nations will stream to the mountain of the Lord.

We exalt You for:

  • The restoration of Israel to her Messiah
  • The healing of the nations
  • The renovation of creation itself
  • The fulfillment of every covenant promise
  • The vindication of Your faithful ones

For the Final Judgment and Eternal Glory

Holy is the Lord for the Great White Throne Judgment! We praise You that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Justice long delayed will be justice finally delivered. Every secret thing will be revealed, every wrong made right, every tear vindicated.

Glory to You for Shemini Atzeret—the Eighth Day—when time gives way to eternity! After the seven thousand years of human history, You will usher in the eternal state, the new heavens and new earth wherein dwells righteousness. The eighth day that transcends the weekly cycle, the eternal Sabbath that never ends!

Blessed be Your name forever for:

  • The New Jerusalem descending from heaven
  • The river of life flowing from the throne
  • The tree of life bearing fruit for the healing of nations
  • The abolishment of death, mourning, crying, and pain
  • The eternal face-to-face communion with You

To Him Who Fulfilled and Fulfills All Things

For the Perfect Prophetic Symphony

We worship You, Lord of Time, for the breathtaking precision of Your redemptive calendar! In Your first coming, You fulfilled the spring feasts to the very day:

  • Passover: The Lamb of God sacrificed for the sins of the world
  • Unleavened Bread: Your sinless body in the tomb
  • Firstfruits: Your resurrection as the firstfruits of those who sleep
  • Pentecost: The outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the harvest of souls begun

Now we see with wonder the approaching fulfillment of the fall feasts:

  • Trumpets: The rapture of the Church at the last trump (September 11-13, 2026)
  • Atonement: Your return in glory to save Israel and judge the nations (October 3, 2033)
  • Tabernacles: The Millennial Kingdom when You dwell with men
  • Shemini Atzeret: The eternal state beyond the cosmic week

All of history is Your appointed times! Every feast a prophecy, every sabbath a promise, every jubilee a declaration of Your sovereignty!

To Him Who Is Altogether Worthy

For His Manifold Perfections

We exalt You, O Lord, for the full radiance of Your infinite perfections:

Your Goodness — You are the source of every good and perfect gift. Your goodness pursues us all our days. You are good when You bless and good when You judge. Your goodness is the foundation of all reality.

Your Justice — Perfect in all Your ways, You will by no means clear the guilty, yet You justify the ungodly through faith. Your justice required the cross; Your justice guarantees that evil will not have the final word.

Your Mercy — New every morning, reaching to the heavens! You delight in mercy, not desiring that any should perish. Your mercies have preserved us when we deserved judgment a thousand times over.

Your Wrath — Holy and pure, the necessary response of perfect love to all that destroys. Your wrath is not capricious but the settled opposition of Your nature to evil. We praise You that Your wrath ensures evil will be destroyed!

Your Creative Power — From nothing You spoke forth galaxies! By Your word the worlds were framed. In You all things consist. The mathematical precision of the Kingdom Birth timeline reflects the same precision seen in the orbits of planets and the structure of atoms.

Your Faithfulness — Great is Your faithfulness! Not one word of all Your good promises has failed. From Eden's first promise to the final "It is done," You are the God who keeps covenant forever.

Your Steadfast Love — Hesed! Covenant love that never lets go! Love that pursued us while we were enemies, love that paid the ultimate price, love that seals us until the day of redemption!

For His Gifts and Graces

Blessed be Your name for the gifts of the Spirit You have lavished upon Your Church:

  • Wisdom and knowledge to understand Your ways
  • Faith to trust Your promises
  • Healing to demonstrate Your kingdom
  • Miracles to attest Your power
  • Prophecy to declare Your will
  • Discernment to recognize the times
  • Tongues and interpretation to praise You in all languages

We praise You for the Scriptures, the God-breathed revelation that is:

  • A lamp to our feet and light to our path
  • Sharper than any two-edged sword
  • Profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction
  • The very words of eternal life

Glory to You for sealing us with the Holy Spirit of promise! The guarantee of our inheritance, the down payment of glory, the divine presence within us crying "Abba, Father!" You have not left us as orphans but have come to us in the Person of Your Spirit.

For the Cross Above All

Above all, we worship You for the cross of Christ! Here is wisdom—that God would become man! Here is power—that death would defeat death! Here is love—that You would die for Your enemies!

At the cross, mercy and truth met together; righteousness and peace kissed each other. Justice was satisfied, mercy was extended, love was demonstrated, evil was defeated, and salvation was accomplished.

We glory in the cross where:

  • The Just died for the unjust
  • The Sinless became sin for us
  • The Rich became poor that we might be rich
  • The Living One tasted death that we might live
  • The Judge took our judgment

The Eternal Doxology

Heaven and Earth Join Our Praise

We call upon all heaven to join our worship:

  • You mighty angels who excel in strength—praise Him!
  • You cherubim and seraphim who cry "Holy!"—praise Him!
  • You twenty-four elders who cast your crowns—praise Him!
  • You saints who have gone before—praise Him!
  • You martyrs under the altar—praise Him!

We summon all creation to declare His glory:

  • Sun, moon, and stars—declare His majesty!
  • Mountains and hills—echo His greatness!
  • Seas and all that fills them—roar His praise!
  • Birds of the air and beasts of the field—sing His glory!
  • Trees of the forest—clap your hands!

Let every created thing in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and in the sea cry out:

"Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!"

Blessed Are You, Lord God, King of the Universe...

...For Creation in Its Fullness

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who in wisdom created all that is, seen and unseen.
By Your word the heavens were made,
And all their host by the breath of Your mouth.
You spoke, and galaxies spun into being,
Stars beyond number, each one named by You.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Creator of the cosmos.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who formed the angelic hosts in splendor,
Cherubim and seraphim who cry "Holy!"
Principalities and powers that serve Your throne,
Michael who stands for Your people,
Gabriel who brings Your messages,
And myriads upon myriads who do Your will.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Commander of heaven's armies.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who set the planets in their courses,
Who knows the path of every comet,
Who holds each atom in perfect order.
From the vastness of Andromeda
To the smallest quark and lepton,
All declare Your infinite wisdom.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Sustainer of all things.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who filled the earth with wonders unnumbered:
Mountains that touch the sky,
Valleys carved by Your fingers,
Forests breathing Your life,
Deserts displaying Your austere beauty.
Every grain of sand counted, every leaf designed.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Artist of creation.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who poured out the waters in their places:
Oceans deep with mysteries untold,
Rivers flowing to their appointed ends,
Lakes reflecting Your glory,
Springs bubbling up from hidden depths.
In the abyss, creatures strange and wonderful
Declare Your imaginative power.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Master of the waters.

For Righteous Judgment and Covenant Faithfulness

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who saw the wickedness of man grown great,
And in righteousness judged the earth with water.
Yet in wrath You remembered mercy,
Preserving Noah and his household,
A remnant of righteousness in an ark of salvation.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Just Judge of all.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who made covenant with Noah and every living thing,
Setting Your bow in the clouds as an eternal sign.
Never again will waters destroy all flesh—
Your oath stands firm while earth remains.
Seedtime and harvest, cold and heat,
Summer and winter, day and night shall not cease.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Keeper of covenants.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who called Abraham from Ur of the Chaldeans,
And swore by Yourself—for You could swear by no greater—
That in his seed all nations would be blessed.
You confirmed this oath to Isaac in Gerar,
You renewed it to Jacob at Bethel,
An everlasting covenant ordered in all things and sure.
Blessed are You, O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

For the Progressive Revelation of Your Will

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who gave Your holy Law at Sinai,
A guardian to lead us to Messiah,
A mirror to reveal our sin and need.
In thunder and lightning You descended,
In holiness too pure for mortal eyes.
Your commandments are perfect, converting the soul.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Giver of the Torah.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who made covenant with David Your servant,
Promising a Son to reign forever.
From his line came the Root of Jesse,
The Branch of righteousness,
The King of kings whose throne endures eternally.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Faithful to Your anointed.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who established a New Covenant in the blood of Jesus,
Not written on tablets of stone,
But on the living tablets of human hearts.
By His one offering, perfection forever,
By His broken body, healing for nations,
By His poured-out blood, redemption eternal.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Author of salvation.

For the Fulfillment of Prophetic Oaths

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Who swore by Your eternal life in Daniel's vision,
The Man clothed in linen above the waters,
Declaring times, time, and half a time.
What You have sworn, You will perform,
What You have spoken comes to pass.
The mystery of God shall be complete.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Keeper of prophetic time.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Whose Son affirmed with heaven-shaking authority,
"This generation shall not pass away
Until all these things are fulfilled."
Heaven and earth shall pass away,
But Your words shall never pass away.
The fig tree has budded, summer is near.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Whose words are faithful and true.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Whose mighty angel stood upon sea and land,
And swore by You who live forever and ever,
That time shall be no more.
In the days of the seventh angel's sounding,
The mystery of God shall be finished,
As declared to Your servants the prophets.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Completer of all things.

For Your Truth and Faithfulness

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
For the days of completion are at hand!
The seals are opening in sequence,
The trumpets prepare to sound,
The bowls of wrath stand ready.
What You spoke through Daniel is unfolding,
What Jesus declared is coming to pass,
What John saw in vision now emerges in time.
Blessed are You, O Lord, the Coming One.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
For all Your works are truth,
Your judgments altogether righteous,
Your promises worth more than gold.
Not one word falls to the ground unfulfilled,
Not one promise returns to You void.
From Eden's first gospel to Revelation's final "Come!"
You are the Faithful and True.
Blessed are You, O Lord, the Amen.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Your Word is to be praised above all!
A lamp unto our feet, a light unto our path,
Sweeter than honey, more precious than gold,
Living and active, discerning hearts,
Forever settled in the heavens,
Yet near us, in our mouths and hearts.
Blessed are You, O Lord, Who speaks and it is done.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
Faithful through all generations!
Your mercies are new every morning,
Your compassions fail not.
From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
Before the mountains were brought forth,
Before You formed the earth and the world,
You are He who is, and was, and is to come.
Blessed are You, O Lord, the Eternal I AM.

Blessed are You, Lord God, King of the Universe,
For You alone are worthy of all blessing,
All honor, all glory, all praise.
Let everything that has breath praise You!
Let the heavens rejoice and the earth be glad!
Let the sea roar and all its fullness!
Let the field be joyful and all that is in it!
Let all the trees of the forest rejoice before You!
For You come to judge the earth with righteousness,
And the peoples with Your truth.
Blessed are You, O Lord our God, King of the Universe,
Forever and ever. Amen.

"Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, 'Amen!' Praise the LORD!" — Psalm 106:48

Our Declaration of Trust

We declare before the seen and unseen realms:

  • We wait for You, Lord Jesus!
  • We trust in Your promises!
  • We rest in Your finished work!
  • We anticipate Your appearing!
  • We long for Your kingdom!

Though the mountains shake and the earth trembles, though the Fourth Seal brings death and the Fifth persecution, though the world rages and Satan accuses—we will trust in You! You are our rock, our fortress, our deliverer, our strength in whom we take refuge!

Therefore, with angels and archangels, with cherubim and seraphim, with the saints of all ages and the groaning creation itself, we lift our voices in endless praise:

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who was, and is, and is to come!

Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!

Great and marvelous are Your works,
Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are Your ways,
O King of the nations!

Who shall not fear You, O Lord,
And glorify Your name?
For You alone are holy.
For all nations shall come
And worship before You,
For Your judgments have been manifested!

Hallelujah!
For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!
Let us be glad and rejoice
And give Him glory!

Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

AMEN and AMEN!

To the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.

Forever and ever. Amen.
